Charming farmhouse in unexpected setting
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the warm hospitality of our hosts, Karen and Chris. The farmhouse, with its historical charm and lovely garden, provided a tranquil escape from the surrounding modern housing estate. Breakfast was a delightful experience, especially with the homemade marmalade that truly stood out. The room was spacious and refreshing, ensuring we had a restful stay.
The location was a bit surprising, nestled within a housing estate rather than a picturesque farm setting. While the hosts were delightful, the proximity to the modern neighborhood felt a tad out of place. we noticed that the plumbing could be a bit noisy at times, which might disturb light sleepers.

We had a wonderful stay in this charming farmhouse with beautiful gardens. The kids loved exploring the outdoor area, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. Breakfast was a highlight, especially the homemade marmalade! We even enjoyed nearby sailing adventures.
My kids wished for more options in the room for entertainment.

The double room was really comfy and clean, with a cozy bed that helped me sleep like a baby. Little extras like tea and coffee in the room were a nice touch. Decor matched the farmhouse vibe, making it feel homey. No complaints about the bathroom. it was spotless and functional. Just a bit cramped for my taste, but overall a good experience.

Couple’s little oasis for a getaway
We had the full English breakfast and it was delicious like a feast, every bite was a delight with the homemade marmalade being the best part. The room we stayed in was spotlessly clean and felt just like home with all the comforts you need, the extra touch with the hot water bottle was nice too.
It was not inexpensive but worth it for the experience and service we received.
